Notice Regarding the Sale of Advanced Ceramics Operations

The Saint-Gobain Group's advanced ceramics operations have been sold to CoorsTek, Inc. (United States). This transaction was completed on December 31, 2010.
Following the conclusion of this transaction, Saint-Gobain K.K. has transferred advanced ceramics operations to CoorsTek's subsidiary in Japan, CoorsTek Japan GDK , with new business operations scheduled be taken over by the latter as of January 1, 2011.
